ST> PAUL, MN (KDAL) - New district maps were released by a judicial panel on Tuesday and they show just a small change for the 8th Congressional District. The western boundary of the district now includes a larger portion of Beltrami County than the maps of ten years ago. The courts were again called on to do the redistricting after Republicans and Democrats in the legislature could not agree on a plan to redraw boundaries that correspond to the new census figures
