The 2nd Annual Northland Heroes Tribute was held Saturday at 5 p-m in Duluth's Wade Stadium. The event not only remembered those who died in the terrorist attacks of 9-11, but also honored area heroes from the military, firefighters and police in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. The special day began with a 5-k Walk-Run to benefit the Red Cross on the Western Lake Superior Waterfront Trail.
