Want to erase people from your pictures? There's an App for that.

A new camera app allows users to automatically erase unwanted objects from photos, without using expensive photo-editing software.

Users can take pictures in a busy public place, but make it look like they are the only one in the photo.

The app is called Remove and was designed for Android phones.

The camera takes several photographs in a row, analyses them and builds a composite image that users can edit. The composite picture will have objects highlighted to allow the user to toggle them in or out of the shot.

No word yet on when it will be released.
