Man completes Triatholon while juggling Posted May 14, 2012 by Otis Day

A man from Florida became the first man to ever juggle his way through a triathlon -- even swimming.

This 31-year-old man swam a quarter-mile while juggling three balls, then biked 16.2 miles while juggling two balls in one hand and ran four miles, also juggling. What's even more amazing is that he did it all in 1 hour and 57 minutes.

The man has been juggling since he was 8. He got into "joggling," juggling while running, in 2008. He became obsessed with that sport's Holy Grail: Completing a full triathlon while juggling.

Juggling while swimming was the hardest part of his race. He somehow managed to complete the running and biking portions of the triathlon without dropping a ball. Swimming wasn't as successful—he dropped balls three times while he was in the water.

RecordSetter.com recognized the feat by achieving Fastest Time To Complete A Juggling Triathlon. He did apply for the Guinness record, but the committee wanted him to ride the bike without using his hands.

6-year-old with cerebral palsy surprises Marine father by walking for the first time Posted May 10, 2012 by Otis Day

A Marine got the gift of a lifetime when he returned from Afghanistan to find that his son with cerebral palsy had learned to walk.

The heartwarming moment was recorded as it unfolded in a school gymnasium, as Staff Sgt. Jeremy Cooney believed his son's cerebral palsy would keep him from being able to move without assistance for his entire life.

His wifes says the family "kept the fact that he could walk a secret the whole time his dad was gone."

As the boy's father enters the gymnasium, he looks around for his family until he spots his son.

Sgt. Cooney crouches down and watches his smiling boy walk across the gym floor to his father.

*VIDEO* One Armed Little League kid pitches a no hitter Posted May 8, 2012 by Otis Day

A 14-year-old from Johnsonville, S.C. pitched a no hitter, a feat that's pretty amazing in little league, and even more amazing because he only has one arm.

He was born with only half a right arm, and he hasn't let it stop him from leading a normal life.

When his parents tried to fit him with a prosthetic arm, he didn't see a need for it and tossed it aside.

He's been a star baseball player for years, plus he hunts, plays guitar, and more.

Red Hot Chili Peppers honor "MCA" from the Beastie Boys Posted May 7, 2012 by Otis Day

The Red Hot Chili Peppers did their best to pay tribute to late Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch, who passed on Friday after a battle with cancer.

Before the show in New Jersey even started, the Beastie Boys' "Check Your Head" was blasting on the PA. Anthony Kiedis then took the stage in a homemade "MCA" t-shirt and dedicated the show to Yauch.

Kiedis told the crowd: "We lost a good man today. He left the world a lot of beauty. I hope you carry that flame. Adam was for real."

The band did instrumental Beastie Boys covers of "Gratitude," as well as "What'cha Want".

As the band left the stage, the house lights went up and the PA blasted the Beastie's 1986 hit, "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)". The Peppers and Beastie Boys were both inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March.
